Why did you get into real estate and what did you do in your pre-real estate life?

My parents were involved in the business, so I've been around it for years and fell in love with it a very young age. Prior to this, I worked for Shoppers for 21 years.

What do you love most above what you do? What is the most rewarding thing about it? Etc.

Honestly...its like shopping on another level and I absolutely love it haha. The thrill of purchasing something and then that investment growing and helping you with your future and your goals, is amazing. But ultimately, meeting and talking to new people, and helping them, is the best thing of all.

What is the best advice someone gave you that you can share with other agents?

Be yourself, be you, because that always works. Be cool, approachable, and on top of that knowledgeable about the industry.

What is something you know now, that wish you knew when you first started your career in real estate? This could be a strategy, advice, anything.

I think I definitely should've started way earlier, because I kind of already was, I just hadn't made it official. So if you want something, go for it.

Your best advice for a Toronto home buyer? OR Seller? OR both?

Real estate is the best investment you can make for your future. That, and don't pay off someone else's mortgage lol.

Can you recall one of your proudest/most memorable moments as an agent?

A big one would be finding my childhood friend her perfect, forever home. But really, finding all my clients their perfect homes. There's no feeling like when you see them come to that realization. In addition to that, its been great, and I'm very proud of myself that I've sold everything high and above market value.

Can you recall the strangest/most bizarre moments or stories in your time working as an agent?

Ha-ha well there's been a few. The one that comes to the top of my mind now, is when I walked into a bathroom and the toilet had a good 4-5 steps working up to it. It was almost like a literal throne.

Your favorite neighbourhood/s in the city and why?

East York is by far my favorite. I mean I grew up there, my whole life is there. But there are amazing opportunities anywhere in the GTA.

Your favorite restaurant, café or thing to do in the City?

Hmmm. Honestly there are too many to choose from. That's the beauty of the city, you can't choose just one.

Why did you choose Blue Door and how does BDR support your business?

I love the boutique feel. Its like a community, there's a closeness, that I think is hard to replicate. Plus I can call Dimitri anytime and drive him a little crazy ha-ha!

What do you think sets this brokerage apart and how does that help your clients?

We work together to help each other. There is no competitiveness or drama. Everyone is genuinely happy for one another, and we want to see each other succeed.

Anything else you’d like people to know about you? One interesting fact about you that you’d like to share?

I'm trilingual, I love travelling, and like I mentioned, I love, love, love shopping!
